1) How to connect Apple Pencil 1 and Apple Pencil 2 to iPad

If you have Apple Pencil version 1, then to connect (synchronize) with your iPad:

  • Turn on Bluetooth.
  • Insert the Apple Pencil into the charging socket of your iPad.
  • Next, you should see a message that Apple Pencil is connected or detected by your iPad.

How to connect Apple Pencil 2 to iPad

If you have Apple Pencil version 2, we have similar steps here:

  • Turn on Bluetooth.
  • Magnetically attach the Apple Pencil to the side magnetic surface of your iPad.
  • After that, you will see a message about the stylus being attached to your iPad and the percentage of current charging of the Apple Pencil.

Attention — if you disable Bluetooth through iPad settings, i.e. completely, your Apple Pencil will lose connection with the tablet, and you will not be able to turn on Bluetooth to make it work again. You will need to physically pair the Apple Pencil with an iPad as indicated in the instructions above.

2) How to reset iPad to factory settings

There are usually only a few reasons to completely reset your iPad to factory settings:

  • You are selling your iPad.
  • You are having your iPad repaired.

    Let's do it together
    - Open iPad settings
    - Go to General Settings
    - select - Transfer or reset iPad
    - Then, select Erase All Content and Setting
    - select Continue
    - select Erase iPad
    - in the next window you may be asked for your iPad password.

voila, you have a fully reset iPad, fresh from the factory.

3) How to screenshot on iPad

I have two ways to do it.
Let's start with the way you don't have an Apple Pencil.

Method 1: Make a short press of the buttons at the same time
Turn on/off screen + Volume Up button

This will create a quick screenshot, personally, I like this way better because the second way (we will talk about it below) can move or close menu windows that we need to take a picture of,

the first method for taking screenshots of the iPad is the most universal one.

Method 2 (with Apple Pencil):

Place the tip of the Apple Pencil in the lower left corner of the screen, then without taking it off the screen - swipe it diagonally towards the upper right corner. The screenshot is ready. then press save.

Important detail, as I said above, this method of creating screenshots of the iPad screen, sometimes can close small menus, and then the screenshot will not be complete.

4) How to turn off or restart iPad

You'll be surprised, but I now know 2 methods how to turn off or reboot your ipad.

Method 1: Hold the Power and Volume Up buttons to access the power-off slider.

But pressing and holding it down at the same time does.

On / Off Screen Buttons + Volume Up Button
will bring up the digital button to completely turn off the iPad

But if you want to reboot your iPad, you will have to do the same thing and then turn the iPad on. unfortunately, there is no separate function for rebooting the tablet in iOS.

The second little-known way to disable the iPad
- Open the iPad settings

  • General settings
  • turn Shut Down tablet
